If you want charm, character, story, and soul, you’re in the right place. Urban Lark is your kind of drama.

My design philosophy:

  • Original over mass-produced

  • Vintage and sustainable

  • Lived-in spaces that tell stories

  • Elegant but not stuffy

  • Playful with a strong sense of history

  • Mixing eras, styles, and price points

Who I work with:

  • Individuals, couples or anyone building their first real spaces

  • Professionals who love good design but lack the time

  • Apartment and small-space dwellers

  • Vintage home lovers (hello, bungalows and cottages!)

  • Anyone who wants meaningful design without the luxury price tag

Kat Kuziel is a curator, collector, and creative obsessed with storytelling through space…

With a deep love for the hunt, Kat spends weekends scouring estate sales and Wednesdays weaving through thrift shops across the Midwest. She’s always on the lookout for pieces that hold character, history, and a bit of mystery—treasures that can be elevated and reimagined into meaningful, unexpected, and beautiful moments.

From a young age, Kat has been drawn to design and collecting. What started as a childhood passion has evolved into a mission: helping others create spaces that feel personal, elevated, and effortlessly cool.

Kat is especially sensitive to the needs of young adults who are often navigating new spaces and transitions. She brings a nurturing, thoughtful approach to her work—helping clients create a home that truly feels like home. Her process is collaborative, encouraging, and grounded in the belief that beauty and comfort should be accessible to everyone.

Her signature style? A high/low mix of modern artisans, vintage finds, and unexpected combinations that turn even a rental wall into a statement. She believes a gallery wall can transform a room instantly—and she proves it, again and again.

Her offerings are accessible, sustainable, and rooted in telling a story. Think elegant and playful, thoughtful and bold. Always original.
